Shakespeare for Kids at Long Branch Library

Readers Theatre Saturday Club. A free 6-week program for ages 7-12.

Explore the world of wizards, magic, potions, ghosts, swords and witches.

  • Learn and play theatre games.
  • Develop play reading skills
  • Create and act in scenes.

Coaching and instruction will be provided by professional actors from Shakespeare in Action theatre company.

Special Event: Wednesday November 4, 7:00 p.m. at the Mimico Branch

An evening with author and visual artist George A. Anthony. An informative presentation and discussion of his ground breaking, self-published work: Don't Light a Candle then Put a Bucket Over It!. Local resident George Anthony has created the ultimate awareness guide for anyone interested in establishing themselves and navigating the sometimes daunting environment of arts funding, promotion and arts business in Canada. A question and answer session will follow. Light refreshments served.
